Ramkrishna Forgings Limited (BSE: 532527, NSE: RKFORGE), a leading manufacturer of rolled, forged, machined and cast engineering products, has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting a sharp improvement in profitability and unveiling a ₹170 crore capital expenditure plan to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities.
The company reported a 298% year-on-year increase in Profit After Tax (PAT), supported by strong demand in the domestic market, healthy export growth and improved operating efficiencies. Consolidated revenue for the quarter rose 19.8% year-on-year to ₹1,217 crore, reflecting steady momentum across key business segments. Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at ₹65 crore, compared with ₹24 crore in the corresponding quarter last year and ₹64 crore in the preceding quarter.
As part of its growth strategy, the Board has approved a capital expenditure of ₹170 crore to establish a new manufacturing facility for passenger vehicle components and install a new 4,000-metric-tonne press line. The investment will enhance the company’s forging capacity and strengthen its ability to meet growing demand from the automotive sector.
The company also announced the re-designation of Chaitanya Jalan as Joint Managing Director, effective July 24, 2026. Previously serving as Whole-time Director, his new role reflects the company’s focus on strengthening leadership as it enters the next phase of expansion.
Commenting on the quarterly performance, Naresh Jalan, Managing Director of Ramkrishna Forgings Limited, said the company has started FY27 on a strong footing, driven by sustained demand across domestic and export markets. He said improved operating leverage, a better business mix and the benefits of strategic initiatives implemented over the past few quarters contributed to the strong financial performance. The company continues to benefit from its diversified business model, with commercial vehicles remaining a key growth driver while businesses such as railways, oil and gas, mining and other industrial sectors continue to expand.
Mr. Jalan added that the ramp-up of casting operations, commissioning of new production capacities and expansion of value-added product offerings are creating new opportunities across multiple industries. The company is also actively building its presence in non-ferrous forgings for the aerospace and semiconductor sectors, which are expected to become important growth areas in the coming years.
Looking ahead, Ramkrishna Forgings expects continued growth supported by sustained domestic demand, improving export markets, expanded manufacturing capacity and a broader product portfolio. The company also expects increasing contributions from newer businesses, including casting and aluminium forging, while expanding its presence across emerging industrial applications.
