Nidec Group to Showcase Machine Tools at IMTS 2024

Nidec Corporation has announced that four of its machine tool subsidiaries will participate in IMTS 2024, the largest manufacturing technology exhibition in the United States. The event will take place in Chicago, Illinois, from September 9 to 14, 2024.

The participating companies are Nidec Machine Tool Corporation, Nidec OKK Corporation, Takisawa Machine Tool Co., Ltd., and PAMA S.p.A. PAMA, an Italian company that joined the Nidec Group last year, will present its leading boring, facing, and drilling machines. Takisawa, a centennial lathe manufacturer based in Okayama, Japan, will also feature its products.

The four companies will occupy larger booths compared to previous exhibitions, showcasing a range of machine tools utilized across various industries, including automotive, robotics, semiconductors, energy, and aerospace.

The exhibition will highlight the it’s advanced solutions and technologies, demonstrating its extensive capabilities and strengths in the machine tool sector. This event aligns with it’s goal to achieve its FY2030 sales target of 10 trillion yen, marking a significant push for growth in its machine tool business.
