MICK Digital India Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of MIC Electronics Limited, has been empanelled as an authorised channel partner of Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), marking its entry into the medical devices distribution segment and strengthening its presence in India’s rapidly expanding healthcare technology market. The partnership authorises MICK Digital to market, distribute and provide support for medical devices and healthcare equipment manufactured at AMTZ across hospitals, healthcare institutions and government healthcare programmes throughout the country.
The empanelment also enables the company to participate in institutional procurement opportunities through platforms such as the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), the National Health Mission (NHM), and various State Health Mission initiatives. Under the collaboration, MICK Digital will distribute a comprehensive portfolio of medical technologies, including ventilators, patient monitoring systems, intensive care equipment, dialysis and renal care solutions, surgical and operation theatre systems, diagnostic imaging devices, laboratory equipment, hospital infrastructure products and a wide range of medical consumables.
The move represents a significant expansion of MICK Digital’s business portfolio while supporting the Government of India’s initiatives to promote domestic medical device manufacturing under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat programmes.India’s medical devices industry is witnessing rapid growth, with the market estimated at nearly USD 11 billion and expected to approach USD 50 billion by 2030. As demand for advanced healthcare infrastructure continues to rise, locally manufactured medical equipment is expected to play an increasingly important role in reducing import dependence and improving access to affordable healthcare technologies.
By combining AMTZ’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem with MICK Digital’s engineering expertise and nationwide distribution capabilities, the partnership aims to improve the availability of high-quality medical devices across government hospitals, medical colleges, primary and community health centres, diagnostic laboratories, imaging centres, defence healthcare facilities, private hospitals and corporate healthcare networks.
