MIC Electronics Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with Switzerland-based GHS Technologies GmbH to jointly design, manufacture, and supply advanced material handling solutions for customers across India. The partnership has already moved into technical execution through an active engagement with a leading industrial client.
Following detailed consultations with the client, GHS Technologies has transferred engineering documentation—including Gerber files, technical drawings, and component specifications—to MIC Electronics for manufacturing assessment. MIC’s engineering team is currently conducting a detailed review, with further discussions planned to finalise the product configuration before initiating an initial sample order. Subject to successful testing and client approval, the programme is expected to move into larger commercial production.
India is a priority market for GHS Technologies, supported by strong growth in manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure, automotive, and energy sectors. Demand for efficient and precise material handling systems continues to rise as companies modernise operations and expand capacity. Industry estimates indicate that the Indian material handling sector is expected to grow at more than 10 percent annually through 2030, driven by ongoing investment in factories, warehouses, and transportation networks. Globally, the market is valued at over USD 200 billion.
For MIC Electronics, the agreement represents an expansion into the industrial material handling segment, building on its experience in electronics manufacturing, systems integration, and engineering execution. The partnership is anchored by a live client mandate, reflecting its commercial focus and near-term implementation.
GHS Technologies brings expertise in European-standard engineering and system design, with experience in translating complex client requirements into detailed technical solutions. MIC Electronics contributes manufacturing capability, engineering validation, and production execution within India. Together, the companies plan to develop solutions that meet international standards while supporting domestic supply requirements.
Rakshit Mathur, CEO of MIC Electronics Ltd, said the partnership strengthens the company’s presence in industrial engineering and opens new growth opportunities. “With client engagement already underway, we are confident of progressing from sample validation to scaled production,” he said.
