The 11th edition of air cargo India opened today at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, alongside the first edition of transport logistic India 2026. Organised by Messe Muenchen India, the co-located trade fairs are designed as a dedicated B2B platform for the air cargo and multimodal logistics sector, bringing together airlines, airport operators, freight forwarders, rail operators, shipping lines, logistics park developers, cold chain specialists, supply chain technology providers, buyers and policymakers.
Former international cricketer AB de Villiers has been named Brand Ambassador for transport logistic India 2026. Known for his focus, adaptability and high-performance approach, his association reflects the event’s emphasis on precision, reliability and operational excellence in logistics.
The launch of transport logistic India alongside the established air cargo India exhibition highlights a shift toward integrated logistics planning, as air freight, surface transport and warehousing operations increasingly depend on one another. This trend is especially relevant for sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automotive components, engineering goods, electronics and perishables.
This year’s combined exhibition features more than 230 brands from over 38 countries, covering the full logistics value chain — from aircraft capacity and ground handling to warehousing infrastructure, automation systems and digital documentation solutions. The German Pavilion showcases a range of engineering and supply chain technology companies, while the pavilion led by the All India Transporters’ Welfare Association highlights the role of road transport in domestic and cross-border trade.
A Future Tech Pavilion, powered by SmartKargo, focuses on digital cargo management, automation and real-time shipment visibility. Bulk liquid logistics has also been included as a key area of discussion. The conference programme features 123 industry leaders examining topics such as logistics performance, trade growth, and global air cargo trends.
Officials from customs, diplomatic missions and industry associations highlighted the importance of faster clearances, integrated transport planning and closer collaboration across the logistics ecosystem. Bhupinder Singh, President – IMEA, Messe München and CEO of Messe Muenchen India, said the platform has been structured to encourage meaningful business engagement, including partnerships, technology adoption and expansion of trade corridors.
As India works to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce logistics costs, air cargo India and transport logistic India aim to provide a focused environment for industry dialogue and collaboration. The trade fairs will continue in Mumbai until February 26, 2026, hosting targeted business meetings and sector discussions across the logistics community.
