Marksans Pharma Limited (NSE: MARKSANS | BSE: 524404), a global pharmaceutical company focused on regulated markets, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of QliniQ BV, a Netherlands-based pharmaceutical and medical products company with established sales, marketing and distribution operations across the Dutch healthcare sector.

The acquisition represents a significant strategic step in Marksans Pharma’s efforts to strengthen its presence in Europe and expand its market-access capabilities through direct ownership of front-end commercial operations within the European Union. Headquartered in Oldenzaal, QliniQ has built a specialized portfolio of niche prescription medicines and medical devices across therapeutic areas including women’s health, dermatology, respiratory care, endocrinology and gastroenterology. The company operates through multiple channels, including wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals, insurer-led tenders and direct-to-consumer platforms.

For the financial year ended December 31, 2025, QliniQ reported revenue of €9.35 million and net profit of €1.01 million. The company has demonstrated strong growth over recent years, recording a revenue compound annual growth rate of approximately 41% between FY2023 and FY2025 while maintaining a debt-free balance sheet.

The transaction provides Marksans with immediate access to one of Europe’s key pharmaceutical markets and strengthens its ability to commercialize both existing and future products through established distribution and regulatory infrastructure. The acquisition also brings long-standing relationships with wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals and health insurers, supporting broader market penetration opportunities.

Commenting on the transaction, Mark Saldanha, Chairman and Managing Director of Marksans Pharma, said, “This acquisition is an important milestone in our strategy to deepen our presence across regulated European markets. QliniQ has built a strong niche portfolio supported by proven market-access capabilities, trusted customer relationships and participation in key healthcare channels. The addition of these capabilities will strengthen our ability to expand our product portfolio and accelerate growth opportunities across Europe.”

Albert de Bruin and Raymond Lansink, Board Members and Shareholders of QliniQ BV, added, “Marksans has established a strong reputation in product development, manufacturing excellence and long-term value creation. We believe the combination of Marksans’ global capabilities and QliniQ’s local market expertise creates a powerful platform for future growth. Together, we share a common objective of improving access to high-quality healthcare solutions while creating value for patients, healthcare professionals, partners and employees.”
