Maieutic Semiconductor, a deep tech startup based in Bengaluru, has successfully raised USD 4.15 million in a funding round co-led by Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners, the company announced on Thursday. The startup focuses on revolutionizing chip design by integrating generative AI into the development process, aiming to streamline workflows in semiconductor creation.

“We are excited to secure this funding and are grateful to have visionary partners like Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners, who believe in our vision and are actively supporting our efforts to redefine the future of chip design,” said Gireesh Rajendran, CEO of Maieutic Semiconductor.

The funds will be used to scale Maieutic’s engineering team and accelerate its go-to-market strategy, significantly reducing time-to-market for its products. As part of this growth, the company is rapidly expanding its team to further develop its platform and bring its innovative vision to life.

Founded by experienced entrepreneurs with a strong background in the semiconductor and AI industries, Maieutic’s leadership team includes Gireesh Rajendran (CEO), Ashish Lachhwani (CBO), Rakesh Kumar (CPO), and Krishna Sankar (CTO). The team boasts over 70 patents and has previously delivered products that have collectively sold over a billion units worldwide.

Maieutic Semiconductor, a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup, has raised USD 4.15 million in seed funding from Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners to develop the world’s first generative-AI “copilot” for analog chip design. Founded in March 2025 by veterans Gireesh Rajendran (CEO), Ashish Lachhwani (CBO), Rakesh  Kumar (CPO), and Krishna  Sankar (CTO) — a team collectively holding over 70 patents and previously responsible for chip products totaling over a billion in sales.

Maieutic harnesses generative AI to streamline the otherwise manual, time-consuming analog IC design process. Their platform automates early-stage development, detects design flaws without needing domain experts, and intelligently analyzes trade-offs, reducing design cycles from weeks to daysWith this infusion, Maieutic plans to scale its engineering team and speed up its go-to-market efforts, positioning India at the forefront of analog semiconductor innovation
