L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has announced a strategic global collaboration with Emerson Electric Co aimed at accelerating innovation in engineering automation, industrial testing, and intelligent systems integration across multiple industries. Under the partnership, LTTS will function as a global system integration and technology development partner, supporting the design, deployment, validation, and lifecycle management of advanced engineering systems powered by Emerson’s NI test and measurement technologies.
The collaboration is expected to support customers across sectors including industrial manufacturing, transportation, semiconductors, aerospace, defence, and sustainability-focused industries where reliability, resilience, operational intelligence, and system efficiency are becoming increasingly critical. As part of the agreement, LTTS will establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence (CoE) at its Mysuru campus in India.
The facility will serve as a global innovation hub focused on engineering automation, product development acceleration, test automation systems, validation workflows, and industrial digitalization solutions. The CoE will leverage Emerson’s NI software and hardware technologies to support advanced engineering environments capable of handling growing system complexity and faster deployment requirements.
Industry leaders from both companies stated that engineering ecosystems globally are rapidly transitioning toward software-defined, connected, and data-driven architectures supported by artificial intelligence, automation, digital twins, and real-time operational analytics.
Ritu Favre, President for Emerson’s Test and Measurement business, said engineering environments are becoming increasingly interconnected and software-centric, requiring open and modular technology platforms capable of supporting rapid innovation cycles and operational reliability. She noted that Emerson’s NI platform provides the architectural flexibility required to manage evolving engineering complexity while enabling faster testing, deployment, and system validation.
Ms Favre added that the collaboration with LTTS extends Emerson’s technology capabilities into industry-specific implementations that help organizations improve operational confidence and engineering efficiency. Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President – Strategic Initiatives & Growth Markets at LTTS, said enterprises across mobility, sustainability, and advanced technology sectors increasingly require engineering systems that are intelligent, adaptive, scalable, and future-ready.
He stated that the partnership combines Emerson’s test and measurement leadership with LTTS’ engineering expertise to create advanced industrial ecosystems capable of supporting long-term innovation and digital transformation initiatives. The collaboration will also focus on joint go-to-market initiatives, sector-specific engineering solutions, extended client support models, and integrated technology deployment strategies across global markets.
Industry analysts believe the partnership reflects growing demand for intelligent engineering platforms capable of supporting industrial automation, connected manufacturing systems, semiconductor validation environments, aerospace testing infrastructure, and next-generation mobility technologies.
