L&T Technology Services (LTTS), a global leader in engineering, digital transformation and AI-led consulting services, has entered into a strategic partnership with Databricks to deliver advanced Industrial AI solutions designed to enhance operational performance, asset reliability and sustainability outcomes for industrial enterprises worldwide. The collaboration brings together LTTS’ engineering expertise and industry knowledge with Databricks’ unified data and AI platform to help organizations transform vast volumes of operational and engineering data into actionable intelligence. The initiative will primarily support companies operating in sectors such as energy, petrochemicals, manufacturing and industrial products, where complex assets and large-scale operations generate significant amounts of data across the value chain.
As industries increasingly seek to improve productivity, optimize resource utilization and reduce environmental impact, the ability to convert raw data into meaningful insights has become a critical competitive advantage. Through this partnership, LTTS and Databricks aim to enable organizations to unlock greater value from existing assets while accelerating digital transformation initiatives.
The alliance combines LTTS’ experience gained from working across more than 600 industrial facilities worldwide with Databricks’ capabilities in artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics and data management. Together, the companies will develop intelligent applications, AI-powered agents and analytics solutions capable of delivering insights across the entire engineering and operational lifecycle.
Key focus areas will include predictive asset reliability, energy and emissions management, production performance optimization, overall equipment effectiveness, quality monitoring and sustainability analytics. By integrating real-time operational data with advanced AI models and natural language interfaces, engineers and plant operators will be able to access and interpret critical information more quickly and accurately.
Julien Debbard, Director for Energy and Utilities at Databricks, said industrial organizations often possess enormous quantities of operational data but face challenges in contextualizing and applying that information effectively. He noted that combining LTTS’ deep engineering expertise with Databricks’ technology platform enables companies to capture and scale decades of operational knowledge across their workforce and asset base.
Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President – Strategic Initiatives & Growth Markets at LTTS, emphasized that many industrial enterprises continue to struggle with transforming data into meaningful business outcomes. He stated that the collaboration is focused on helping organizations convert engineering knowledge and operational data into measurable improvements in efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness.
