LT Elevator Limited (BSE: 544518) has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire South Korea-based DYPC Inc., marking the company’s entry into the global automated parking technology market. The deal will give LT Elevator access to DYPC’s proprietary parking technology, international patents, overseas customer base and an order book of around ₹65 crore.
DYPC Inc., headquartered in Seoul, has more than 20 years of experience in automated mechanical parking systems and has delivered projects across the USA, UK, Mexico, Thailand, Iran, Uruguay, Egypt, Canada and other markets. Its SMART PARKING® portfolio includes rotary, tower, compact circulating and shuttle-based parking systems.
The acquisition comes with an estimated bid pipeline of around ₹700 crore. DYPC has secured orders worth approximately ₹45 crore in the past week, taking its current order book to around ₹65 crore. This includes an order of about ₹8 crore from the US, providing LT Elevator with an immediate foothold in the American market. DYPC has also bid for projects worth nearly ₹550 crore in the US.
LT Elevator expects DYPC to contribute approximately ₹30 crore to revenue during the remaining period of FY27, with the business expected to generate strong margins. The acquisition will provide L.T. Elevator with access to DYPC’s SMART PARKING® intellectual property and 12 patents. The technology is expected to complement the company’s existing Park Smart automated parking business in India and strengthen its ability to bid for large and technically complex parking projects.
LT Elevator’s upcoming integrated manufacturing facility, scheduled for commissioning in Q4 FY27, is expected to manufacture DYPC-designed parking systems in India. The facility could reduce import dependence, improve supply chain efficiency and support better margins.
The company is also seeing strong traction in its home elevator business. Annualised order bookings have crossed ₹100 crore, six months ahead of its internal target. L.T. Elevator has already secured orders linked to the new manufacturing facility, providing additional revenue visibility for FY27.
Management expects the DYPC acquisition, increased manufacturing capacity and continued growth in the home elevator and automated parking businesses to support a strong growth trajectory in FY28.“The acquisition of DYPC is a defining moment for L.T. Elevator. We are acquiring technology, intellectual property and a global footprint built over two decades,” said Yash Gupta, Director, LT Elevator Limited. The company will conduct an investor and analyst conference call to discuss the acquisition, integration plans, commercial opportunities and financial implications. Details of the call will be announced separately.
