Loom Solar has achieved two major milestones, crossing 100,000 customer installations and securing pan-India empanelment under the Government of India’s PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The developments mark a significant step in the company’s growth as a leading provider of solar energy solutions.

Since its founding in 2018, Loom Solar has evolved from a rooftop solar startup into a comprehensive solar technology company serving residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural segments. Its growing customer base spans urban centers as well as remote regions with limited grid access, reflecting increasing demand for decentralized and reliable energy solutions.

With its registration as an approved vendor on the national portal, the company is now positioned to directly support homeowners across India in accessing subsidy-linked rooftop solar systems. This enables a more streamlined process, integrating product selection, installation, and financial incentives within a single platform.

Loom Solar offers an integrated portfolio that includes high-efficiency solar panels, on-grid and hybrid inverters, and lithium-based energy storage systems. These solutions are designed to improve energy reliability, optimize consumption, and deliver long-term value for users across different sectors.

Amod Anand, Co-Founder and Director of Loom Solar, said the milestone reflects growing trust in domestic solar innovation and the company’s focus on delivering high-performance solutions. He added that nationwide empanelment under the government scheme will make it easier for consumers to adopt solar energy and benefit from available subsidies.

To support rising demand, Loom Solar is developing a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility, expected to be operational by FY27. The company currently operates multiple manufacturing units and warehouses across India, supported by an extensive reseller network.

With a workforce of around 300 employees, Loom Solar continues to focus on inclusive growth and expanding access to clean energy. The company remains committed to advancing India’s renewable energy goals by making solar power more accessible, efficient, and scalable for a wide range of consumers.
