Havells India-owned Lloyd announced on Monday that it has significantly expanded the air conditioner production capacity at its Ghiloth and Sri City plants to 3 million units annually. The company also revealed a new range of luxury cooling solutions, called the Lloyd Luxuria Collection, designed to meet the growing demand for high-end products in the market. Last year, Lloyd had disclosed plans to boost the manufacturing capacity at its Ghiloth facility in Rajasthan from 900,000 units to 1.5 million units annually, and at Sri City from 1.12 million units to 1.5 million units. The expansion has involved an investment of ₹50-60 crore.
