Litmos, a global learning acceleration platform, has opened a new office in Pune as part of its strategy to strengthen its engineering capabilities in India and expand its global technology operations. Located in Pune, the new facility will support the development of a strong engineering community in India. The team will complement Litmos’ existing developer programme and contribute to the company’s technology work across global markets.
The office was formally inaugurated during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Eric Vermillion, CEO of Litmos; Brian Sobus, CTO of Litmos; and Sarabjeet Singh, Director of India Operations. Litmos supports more than 11,000 organisations across 150 countries. Its platform is designed to help companies build human capabilities across employees, partners and customers as organisations adapt to changing technology and workplace requirements.
Eric Vermillion, CEO of Litmos, said, “The opening of our Pune office marks an important milestone in Litmos’ continued investment in our people, technology and global capabilities. India has one of the world’s deepest and most highly skilled technology talent pools, with exceptional engineering expertise, strong academic foundations and experience solving complex challenges at global scale. Pune, in particular, has built a vibrant technology ecosystem with a wealth of experienced professionals and emerging talent. India adds deep experience to our existing global engineering talent, and we are excited about the possibilities this new chapter brings.”
Sarabjeet Singh, Director of India Operations Litmos said, “This new office will help Litmos realize the very real benefits to being together in the same room. These include mentorship and knowledge-sharing that happen organically as well as hands-on learning and collaboration that are harder to replicate remotely. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to support the team in Pune as they grow their expertise and take on opportunities to contribute to Litmos’ global success.”
The Pune facility comes during a period of growth and product development for Litmos. The company has expanded its offering, made new executive appointments and entered into new partnerships as it continues to develop its learning acceleration platform. Litmos said the new office will allow its India-based technology team to work more closely with colleagues across its global operations. The company expects the Pune team to contribute to product development, engineering and technology initiatives serving customers worldwide.
The investment also reflects the company’s focus on building long-term technology capabilities in India. Pune has a large base of engineering professionals and an established technology ecosystem, providing the company with access to experienced talent as well as new graduates.
Litmos aims to use the Pune office as a platform for knowledge sharing, professional development and innovation. The company also expects the facility to strengthen collaboration between its engineering teams and support the continued expansion of its global technology capabilities.
