Lantek, a global provider of software solutions for the metal manufacturing industry, has opened a direct office in Canada, strengthening its footprint in North America. The move reflects the company’s long-term commitment to supporting sheet metal, tube, and structural steel manufacturers across the country.
The establishment of Lantek Canada builds on an existing customer base of more than 300 companies already using Lantek software solutions nationwide. A direct local presence will allow the company to strengthen customer relationships, improve service responsiveness, and support technological development through dedicated local resources aligned with global standards.
The Canadian office forms part of Lantek’s broader North American strategy, centered on direct market presence and long-term partnerships with customers and machine tool manufacturers. The local team will support manufacturers across Canada, with a particular focus on Ontario and Quebec. With its legal headquarters in Toronto, the company will initially focus on building local teams and operational capabilities to ensure close customer engagement and a strong understanding of regional market needs.
“Canada is a key market in our North American growth strategy,” said Alberto López de Biñaspre, CEO of Lantek. “A direct presence allows us to work more closely with customers, better understand their requirements, and deliver services aligned with our operating model in other major markets.”
With the addition of Canada, Lantek now operates 23 offices across 17 countries, reinforcing its growth strategy based on local presence, specialization, and direct customer engagement. Lantek is a global software provider specializing in solutions for the sheet metal industry, helping manufacturers streamline design, production, and management processes.
Its software supports the entire manufacturing workflow—from CAD/CAM, nesting, and cutting to factory management and Industry 4.0 integration—enabling greater efficiency, accuracy, and cost control. Serving customers worldwide, Lantek works closely with machine tool manufacturers and metal fabricators to optimize operations, reduce waste, and improve productivity through advanced automation and digitalization.
