Kirloskar Industries Limited (KIL) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, reporting steady operational performance and continued growth across its businesses. The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹354 crore for FY26, reflecting a 15% year-on-year increase, while total income rose 5% to ₹7,013 crore.
The company stated that the performance was supported by operational stability, disciplined execution, and sustained momentum across its key business segments. KIL continues to maintain a diversified business portfolio spanning wind power generation, real estate development, investments, and commercial leasing activities.
Commenting on the results, George Verghese, Managing Director, Kirloskar Industries Limited, said the company delivered stable performance during the quarter and closed the financial year on a positive note despite evolving market conditions. He noted that the company’s material subsidiary, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited, continued to demonstrate resilience during the year, supported by capacity optimisation initiatives, operational efficiencies, and a sustained focus on profitable growth. According to him, the subsidiary’s emphasis on responsible manufacturing practices and cost competitiveness has further strengthened its position in the market.
KIL also highlighted progress in its real estate business through Avante Spaces Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary. During the quarter, the company launched “Avante Business Park,” a major commercial development aimed at creating integrated urban spaces designed around business, community and lifestyle requirements.
The company believes the project represents an important milestone in its long-term urban development strategy and reflects its commitment towards building future-ready infrastructure aligned with sustainable growth objectives. George Verghese stated that KIL remains focused on building resilient and sustainable businesses while maintaining financial discipline and creating long-term value for stakeholders. He added that the company would continue to evaluate opportunities that align with its growth strategy while preserving operational strength and capital efficiency.
Kirloskar Industries Limited, incorporated in 1978, is listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange. The company initially established its presence in wind power generation and later diversified into real estate development through Avante Spaces Limited. In addition to its operating businesses, KIL also holds investments in group companies and generates revenue through leasing of commercial properties.
Industry observers note that companies with diversified business models and disciplined capital allocation continue to remain better positioned to navigate economic fluctuations while pursuing long-term expansion opportunities. KIL’s performance during FY26 reflects this balanced approach, supported by operational continuity and strategic investments across sectors.
The company’s real estate development initiatives are also expected to gain traction amid growing demand for integrated commercial and mixed-use developments in key urban markets. Through Avante Spaces, KIL aims to focus on projects that combine infrastructure, design and community-centric planning.
As the company enters FY27, its priorities remain centred on strengthening operational capabilities, enhancing business sustainability and expanding value creation opportunities across its portfolio businesses. With a focus on long-term resilience and disciplined growth, KIL continues to reinforce its position within the broader Kirloskar Group ecosystem.
