Kinetiflo Group has announced that Keen Pump Company has joined the group as its newest division, expanding its portfolio of pump products for water and wastewater applications. Keen Pump, based in Ashland, Ohio, manufactures grinder, submersible and chopper pumps for sewage and solids-handling applications. The company becomes the third division of Kinetiflo Group, joining Continental Pump Company, which has manufactured progressive cavity pumps since 1946, and Integrity Pump & Motor, a manufacturer of vertical and submersible turbine pumps since 2017.
Founded in 1972, Keen Pump built its reputation in the grinder pump market through its patented Single Stage Cutting technology. Following the addition to Kinetiflo Group, the company will continue operating as Keen Pump Company, a Division of Kinetiflo Group. Its existing team, facilities, brand and customer relationships will remain in place.
“They’ve built something special. A team that cares about the customer, moves fast and doesn’t make excuses,” said Jim Aubrey, CEO, Kinetiflo Group. “Their expertise in water and wastewater makes Kinetiflo stronger.” Keen Pump manufactures equipment and systems for the water and wastewater industry, including grinder pumps, submersible pumps, chopper pumps, control panels and complete fiberglass basin packages. The company serves customers across the United States through its distributor network.
The addition of Keen Pump expands Kinetiflo Group’s capabilities in water and wastewater pumping applications and provides Keen Pump customers with access to the wider group’s inventory, technical expertise and distribution infrastructure.
“Kinetiflo Group understands what Keen Pump is about. The product, the speed, the commitment to doing right by the customer,” said Gregg Keener, President, Keen Pump. “Our team is going to have opportunities that wouldn’t have been possible on our own. Our customers are going to have more inventory, more expertise and more of everything they need.”
Kinetiflo Group was formed in 2024 and brings together more than 140 years of combined pump manufacturing and distribution experience through its three divisions. The group serves customers in the United States, Canada and South America through five stocking locations.
The group’s products are assembled in the United States and cover a range of pumping requirements across industrial, municipal and water and wastewater applications. The addition of Keen Pump further broadens its product offering and strengthens its position in the water and wastewater market.
Keen Pump will continue serving customers through its established distributor network while benefiting from the resources and infrastructure available across Kinetiflo Group. Kinetiflo Group said the addition is intended to support continued growth across its pump businesses while maintaining the customer service and technical expertise associated with each of its divisions.
