Kinetic Engineering Limited (BSE: 500240), a leading name in India’s mobility engineering and auto component sector, announced strong quarterly performance and key milestones achieved by its electric vehicle subsidiary, Kinetic Watts & Volts Ltd (KWV). The company confirmed that KWV has successfully received ARAI homologation and completed all requisite testing, paving the way for the official launch of its flagship electric scooter, Kinetic DX. Following the inauguration of its first showroom on October 16, 2025, KWV will commence customer deliveries by the end of November, backed by robust bookings received within months of launch.
KWV has already issued over 50 Letters of Intent (LOIs) across major Indian cities such as Pune, Mumbai, Surat, Indore, Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, achieving its dealership expansion target ahead of schedule. The company plans to operationalize all these outlets by March 2026, with a target of 5,000 vehicle deliveries, generating approximately ₹50 crore in revenue. For the next fiscal year, KWV aims to sell 60,000 units, targeting a ₹600 crore turnover as its EV lineup expands. A further 200-dealership network is planned nationwide by FY 2026–27, with a strong focus on the southern markets in the next phase of rollout.
Highlighting the brand’s revival, Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman of Kinetic India, said, “The response to KWV has been phenomenal, reinforcing the deep trust customers place in the Kinetic brand. The Kinetic DX has quickly become the preferred everyday scooter for Indian families — a combination of durability, practicality, and convenience with features like Easy Key, Easy Charge, and Easy Flip.”
On the manufacturing front, Kinetic Engineering has further strengthened its capabilities with a new robotic chassis line, a revamped paint shop, and advanced metal pressing facilities to enhance production efficiency and quality. The company currently manufactures chassis for both E-Luna and Kinetic DX EV, underscoring strong synergy within the Kinetic Group’s electric mobility initiatives. With multiple partnerships under discussion in the auto component business and a growing EV distribution network, Kinetic Engineering Limited is positioned for sustainable, long-term growth.
