KEC International’s T&D business has secured contracts for an EPC project and tower supply in the Middle East. The renewables business also won an order for a balance of system package for a 625 MWp solar PV project in Rajasthan. This project is from a subsidiary of a well-known public sector undertaking (PSU) in the renewable power generation sector.

Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director & CEO of KEC International, expressed satisfaction with the steady stream of orders. He highlighted the company’s confidence in the renewable energy sector and its strong presence in the international transmission market.

Kejriwal expects the transmission and distribution segment to continue being a major revenue driver. He noted that about 40-45% of the company’s current order pipeline is in the transmission sector, both in India and abroad. The company’s stock closed 2.16% higher at ₹903 on the NSE on July 2.

KEC International is one of the leading players in global infrastructure engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).
