KEC International Wins New Orders Worth Rs 1,025 Crore in T&D and Cables

KEC International Ltd, part of the RPG Group, has announced new orders worth Rs 1,025 crore in its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables businesses.

The T&D orders include a 765 kV GIS Substation project in India from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a 225 kV project in West Africa involving transmission lines, substations, and underground cabling, and supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

In the Cables business, KEC International received orders for supplying various types of cables both in India and overseas.

Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd, said, “We are pleased with the continuous inflow of orders, especially in our T&D business. These new orders significantly expand our order book in both domestic and international markets. Our year-to-date order intake has surpassed Rs 4,000 crore, growing over 70% compared to last year. These orders boost our confidence in achieving our growth targets.”

Earlier, on June 7, the company secured new orders worth Rs 1,061 crore across various businesses. On June 5, it bagged orders worth Rs 1,002 crore in its civil business.

KEC International is a major player in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) with operations in Power Transmission and Distribution, Railways, Civil, Urban Infrastructure, Solar, Oil & Gas Pipelines, and Cables. The company is currently working on infrastructure projects in over 30 countries and has a presence in more than 110 countries.
