KEC International Ltd, a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company and part of the RPG Group, has secured new Transmission and Distribution (T&D) project orders totaling Rs. 1,476 crore across India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. The newly awarded contracts cover a mix of power transmission infrastructure development and supply projects, strengthening the company’s order pipeline across international markets.
Among the major awards is a composite order in Saudi Arabia that includes the construction of 380 kV transmission lines, substations, and extra-high-voltage cabling infrastructure. The project represents the company’s largest composite T&D order in the Saudi Arabian market.
In addition to the Middle East project, KEC International has secured a 132 kV transmission line order in Africa, indicating renewed activity in the region’s power transmission sector. The company has also received supply orders for transmission towers in India and the Americas, along with hardware and pole supply contracts in the Americas.
Commenting on the development, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International Ltd, said the new contracts reinforce the company’s position in global power infrastructure. “We are pleased to secure these new orders across multiple geographies in our Transmission and Distribution business. The award of our largest composite order in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the current geopolitical environment, reflects continued investments in the region’s power infrastructure sector,” Mr Kejriwal said.
He also noted that the project wins signal improving market conditions in other regions. “The order secured in Africa suggests a gradual revival in transmission and distribution investments in that region. These wins further strengthen our international order book and reinforce our presence in global markets,” he added.
With these latest contracts, the company’s year-to-date order intake has reached approximately Rs. 22,800 crore, providing strong visibility for future execution.
