Following its disclosure dated November 18, 2025, and in light of subsequent media reports and investor queries, KEC International Limited has issued a clarification to ensure all stakeholders have the correct context. This statement is being shared voluntarily, and the details remain unchanged from the earlier disclosure.
Year-to-date in FY26, the company has secured orders worth ₹17,066 crore, marking a 17% rise compared with the previous year. While PGCIL accounted for nearly 27% of the order intake last year, its share has moderated to around 4% this year, reflecting a broader diversification in the company’s project portfolio.
The unexecuted order book now stands at ₹39,325 crore, with PGCIL-linked projects making up roughly 15% of the total. Importantly, the company has clarified that the recent communication from PGCIL has no bearing on the execution of ongoing projects awarded by the utility, ensuring continuity in operations.
With a robust tender pipeline of more than ₹1,80,000 crore and L1 positions exceeding ₹4,000 crore, KEC remains optimistic about achieving its full-year order intake guidance. The strong inflow of opportunities provides a healthy foundation for sustained growth across its business lines.
The company has stated that it anticipates no significant impact on its operations or financial performance as a result of the latest developments. All activities and project timelines are progressing as planned, supported by its diversified order book and steady execution capabilities.
In response to the situation, KEC is actively reviewing all possible courses of action, including legal remedies and seeking reconsideration from PGCIL. The company reiterated its unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of governance, integrity, and compliance in every aspect of its work.
