JSW Infrastructure Limited, part of the JSW Group and India’s second-largest private commercial port operator, has announced its financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, reporting steady cargo growth, improved operational performance, and continued expansion across ports and logistics businesses. During Q4 FY2026, the company handled cargo volumes of 31.6 million tonnes, registering a 1 percent year-on-year increase. Revenue from operations rose 19 percent to ₹1,522 crore, while operating EBITDA increased 20 percent to ₹769 crore. Adjusted profit after tax stood at ₹528 crore, reflecting a growth of 15 percent over the corresponding quarter last year.

For the full financial year FY2026, cargo handled volumes reached 122 million tonnes, up 4 percent year-on-year. Revenue from operations increased 20 percent to ₹5,361 crore, while operating EBITDA rose 15 percent to ₹2,604 crore, in line with management guidance. Adjusted PAT for the year stood at ₹1,644 crore, recording a 12 percent increase compared to FY2025.

The company’s Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of ₹0.90 per share, subject to shareholder approval. Growth during the quarter was supported by strong operational performance at South West Port, Dharamtar Port, and Jaigarh Port, along with contributions from interim operations at the Tuticorin Terminal and the JNPA Liquid Terminal.

The company noted that cargo volumes at its Fujairah facility in the UAE were impacted by disruptions arising from the ongoing Middle East conflict, while vessel availability and elevated freight costs affected cargo movement during March 2026. However, operational conditions have improved significantly since April, with normalisation in vessel availability and stable operations across key ports and terminals.

Increased cargo realisations, higher contribution from ancillary services such as storage and transportation, and rupee depreciation supported growth in the port business. Operational revenue from the port segment increased to ₹1,295 crore during the quarter, while operational EBITDA rose to ₹705 crore.

The company also reported strong growth in its logistics business through Navkar Corporation Limited. EXIM cargo volumes rose 14 percent year-on-year to 86,000 TEUs, while domestic cargo volumes surged 56 percent to 427,000 metric tonnes during Q4 FY2026.

JSW Infrastructure continued to strengthen its growth pipeline during the year. Public hearings were successfully completed for proposed greenfield ports at Keni in Karnataka and Murbe in Maharashtra. The company also secured the Kolkata Container Terminal project and completed the JNPA Liquid Terminal project, enabling full-scale commercial operations.

In the logistics segment, the acquisition of 25 rail rakes and an additional order for 40 rakes marks a significant step toward expanding integrated logistics capabilities and end-to-end cargo solutions. The company maintained a strong balance sheet with net debt to EBITDA at 1.2x, gross debt of ₹6,410 crore, and cash and bank balances of ₹3,309 crore.

JSW Infrastructure currently operates 13 strategically located port concessions across India and international terminal operations in the UAE. The company aims to expand cargo-handling capacity from the current 183 MTPA to 400 MTPA by 2030 while continuing to strengthen its sustainability and ESG initiatives across operations.
