Jeh Aerospace has entered into a long-term agreement (LTA) with Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS to manufacture and supply high-precision components for landing gear systems used in high-rate commercial single-aisle aircraft programs. The agreement marks a significant milestone in Jeh Aerospace’s growth journey as it strengthens its position within the global aerospace manufacturing ecosystem.
Under the terms of the agreement, Jeh Aerospace will produce these critical components at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, India. The partnership integrates Jeh Aerospace into Liebherr-Aerospace’s global industrial network, enabling closer collaboration on advanced aerospace manufacturing programs.
Landing gear systems represent one of the most complex and safety-critical areas of aircraft manufacturing. Components must adhere to extremely tight tolerances, undergo rigorous qualification processes, and meet stringent reliability standards. Even minor deviations can impact performance and safety, making precision and consistency non-negotiable. Jeh Aerospace has demonstrated strong capabilities in this domain, having delivered over 200,000 flight-critical aerospace components to date without any quality deviations.
The agreement was formalized during a visit by senior leadership from Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS to Jeh Aerospace’s Hyderabad facility. The visiting delegation included Martin Wandel, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director; Philipp Walter; Bernd Schacherl; and Vikas Ukkeranda. The visit provided an opportunity to review Jeh Aerospace’s manufacturing processes, quality systems, and operational readiness for high-volume aerospace production.
Commenting on the partnership, Martin Wandel stated that Liebherr collaborates with partners capable of meeting the highest standards of precision, quality, and delivery performance. He added that the company looks forward to working closely with Jeh Aerospace, which has demonstrated strong manufacturing capabilities and a clear focus on operational excellence.
