JD Cables Limited (“JD Cables” or “the Company”) has received a substantial Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) work order from Kaushal Engineering Limited (KEL) for the completion of civil and electrical works under a key National Highway development project in Jharkhand. This order represents a significant step forward in the Company’s infrastructure execution portfolio.

The awarded scope covers the remaining construction works of the Chauparan Flyover, Barkatha Flyover, a Road Over Bridge (ROB), along with associated electrical works for the six-laning of the Bihar–Jharkhand Border stretch (Chordaha to Gorhar section) of National Highway-2. The project spans from Km 249.525 to Km 320.810 and is being implemented under NHDP Phase-V on an EPC basis.

The total value of the contract stands at ₹2,43,99,19,353, inclusive of GST at 18%, approved Change of Scope (COS), and applicable price escalation. The contract amount also factors in all relevant taxes, duties, labour cess, and material royalty, aligned on a back-to-back basis with the main contract. Any future changes arising from amendments in law by the Government of India or the Government of Jharkhand will be addressed as per the provisions of the principal agreement.
