Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a leading provider of wind energy solutions in India, has won new orders totaling 229 MW, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for renewable energy developers. The largest of these orders is a 160 MW contract from a top Indian independent power producer, comprising a firm 112 MW order with an option to extend by an additional 48 MW. The project will utilize Inox Wind’s 3.3 MW wind turbine generators across multiple sites and includes limited EPC services along with multi-year operations and maintenance post commissioning.

In addition, Inox Wind secured a 69 MW repeat order from another prominent renewable energy developer, part of a global clean energy company, for a project in Maharashtra. This follows a 153 MW order from the same customer earlier in March 2025, reflecting the strong trust and relationship built in a short span.

Commenting on the development, Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO Renewables, INOXGFL Group, said, “Receiving these significant orders, both new and repeat, underscores the confidence our customers have in our technology, execution capabilities, and long-term service commitment. Inox Wind continues to be the preferred partner for major renewable energy developers in India.”

Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind Ltd., added, “These order inflows validate our advanced 3 MW-class turbine technology and expanding presence in India’s renewable energy market. We are also in advanced discussions with multiple clients and aim to secure additional orders soon, targeting a net order book that supports our execution plans for the next 18–24 months.”

Inox Wind Limited is part of the INOXGFL Group, which has a legacy of over 90 years and operates primarily in chemicals and renewable energy. IWL is a fully integrated wind energy company with four manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh producing blades, tubular towers, hubs, and nacelles. Its 3 MW series wind turbines give it a manufacturing capacity of around 2.5 GW per year.

Through its subsidiaries, IWL provides comprehensive wind energy solutions. Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., India’s only listed pure-play renewable O&M company, manages a portfolio of approximately 13 GW of assets. Inox Renewable Solutions (formerly Resco Global Wind Services Pvt. Ltd.) delivers EPC services and develops shared infrastructure, including power evacuation, for wind projects.

IWL offers end-to-end wind solutions, from project conception to commissioning and O&M, manufacturing key components in-house to ensure high quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
