INOX Air Products Private Limited (INOXAP), one of India’s leading manufacturers of industrial and medical gases, has entered into a long-term partnership with TACC Limited (The Advanced Carbons Company) to supply high-purity nitrogen for TACC’s upcoming greenfield facility in Dewas. The plant will manufacture lithium-ion battery-grade graphite anode material, a critical component for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

Under the agreement, INOXAP will establish a dedicated onsite nitrogen generation plant on a Build, Own and Operate (BOO) basis. The facility will ensure uninterrupted, safe, and high-purity nitrogen supply tailored to TACC’s production requirements. The onsite model is designed to optimise operational efficiency while meeting stringent quality standards essential for advanced carbon materials manufacturing.

Commenting on the partnership, Diganta Sarma, Head – Business Development & Strategy at INOX Air Products, said the collaboration aligns with the shared objective of strengthening India’s advanced materials and clean energy ecosystem. He noted that the agreement reinforces INOXAP’s capability in supporting high-performance manufacturing sectors such as electric mobility and energy storage through dependable industrial gas infrastructure.

TACC Limited is a key player in advanced carbon materials, specialising in battery-grade synthetic graphite anode materials. The company is also advancing graphene-based derivatives with applications across construction, textiles, coatings, and other industrial segments. Access to a dedicated nitrogen supply is expected to enhance process stability, maintain product purity, and enable scalable production aligned with global benchmarks.

Ankur Khaitan, Managing Director & CEO of TACC Limited, stated that the precision and reliability required in battery-grade graphite manufacturing make high-quality nitrogen supply indispensable. He added that the partnership with INOXAP strengthens TACC’s ability to deliver consistent quality at scale while contributing to India’s ambitions in electric mobility and clean energy technologies.

With this development, INOXAP continues to expand its presence in emerging sectors linked to decarbonisation and advanced manufacturing. The company aims to set new standards in supply reliability, safety compliance, and operational excellence through robust onsite gas solutions.
