Infosys has been awarded the Compliance Leader Verification™ by Ethisphere, an organization that develops global standards for ethical business practices and corporate governance. The recognition highlights the effectiveness and maturity of Infosys’ ethics and compliance framework and reflects the company’s continued emphasis on responsible corporate conduct across its global operations.
The verification process involves a comprehensive review of a company’s ethics and compliance program as well as its corporate culture. Ethisphere conducts an independent assessment designed to evaluate how organizations promote ethical behaviour, manage compliance risk and build internal systems that encourage accountability and transparency.
As part of the evaluation, Infosys underwent analysis using Ethisphere’s proprietary Ethics Quotient® methodology. The process also included benchmarking against companies that have previously been recognized among the World’s Most Ethical Companies®. The assessment incorporated documentation reviews and interviews with senior leadership and key stakeholders responsible for implementing governance practices within the organization.
The evaluation examined six primary areas that shape an organization’s compliance program. These areas include program structure and resources, employee perceptions of ethical culture, written policies and standards, training and communication practices, risk assessment and monitoring processes, and systems related to enforcement, discipline and incentives.
Ethisphere representatives noted that the review demonstrated the company’s commitment to continuously strengthening its ethics and compliance initiatives. The organization cited the use of technology, structured governance frameworks and experienced compliance professionals as elements that support a consistent approach to ethical decision-making throughout the company.
