India’s rapidly expanding technology sector will take centre stage at the 26th edition of IndiaSoft, scheduled to take place from March 23–25, 2026, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event is expected to draw 700 international buyers from 70 countries, providing Indian technology companies with a significant platform to strengthen global trade partnerships.
This year’s event will be presented under the broader banner of Bharat Tech 2026, a unified exhibition showcasing India’s strengths in information technology, electronics, and telecommunications. By bringing these key sectors together, the event aims to offer international participants a comprehensive view of India’s growing role in the global digital economy.
Organised by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) with support from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, the exhibition is expected to attract technology buyers from both established and emerging markets. Delegations from regions including Africa, Latin America, ASEAN and CIS countries will participate alongside representatives from major economies such as Canada, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Vietnam, Chile, South Africa and Australia.
More than 1,500 exhibitors are expected to showcase a broad range of technologies, including robotics, artificial intelligence, electronics manufacturing and software services. The event will provide Indian companies—particularly MSMEs and technology startups—with direct access to global buyers, enabling them to present their products and solutions without the cost and complexity of overseas marketing efforts.
According to Veer Sagar, Chairman of ESC, the scale of participation reflects the exhibition’s growing role in promoting India’s technology exports and strengthening commercial ties between Indian companies and international partners. “IndiaSoft has consistently served as a bridge between Indian exporters and global buyers,” said Gurmeet Singh, Executive Director, ESC. “The diversity of international participation this year highlights the confidence global markets have in India’s digital ecosystem and the expanding opportunities for export-driven growth.”
The three-day event will also feature a conference programme addressing emerging technology trends and global policy developments. Sessions will explore topics such as women-led AI startups, venture capital engagement, cross-border data governance and electronics manufacturing leadership.
India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, has been invited to inaugurate the event, which will also include participation from government representatives, industry associations and global technology leaders. With a strong presence of buyers from new and emerging markets, Bharat Tech 2026 is expected to open fresh avenues for Indian technology companies seeking to expand their global footprint.arketing efforts.
