Hutchinson and Dynamatic Technologies Limited have entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) aimed at strengthening capabilities within India’s rapidly expanding aerospace sector. The collaboration brings together Hutchinson’s expertise in advanced composite and multi-material systems with Dynamatic Technologies’ strong manufacturing capabilities in metallic aerostructures and complex assemblies, positioning both companies to better support global aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) operating in India and beyond.
Hutchinson specializes in the design and manufacture of advanced composite solutions and integrated systems, delivering products from initial design through serial production. Its technologies help aerospace manufacturers meet increasingly demanding requirements related to performance, weight reduction, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
Dynamatic Technologies has established itself as a key player in metallic aerostructures and Class 1 assemblies, demonstrating India’s growing strength in aerospace manufacturing. With advanced engineering and production facilities, the company supports major global aerospace programs and contributes to the development of high-value aerospace components produced in India.
By combining Dynamatic’s industrial footprint in complex metallic structures with Hutchinson’s materials expertise and systems engineering capabilities, the partnership aims to support increasing aircraft production rates and address the needs of India’s fast-growing aerospace market. The collaboration will also help prepare both companies to participate in future aircraft programs.
As an initial step under the agreement, Dynamatic Technologies will award Hutchinson its first work package for composite components. In return, Hutchinson will award Dynamatic a multi-year contract for metallic parts production. These first contracts establish the operational foundation for the partnership and signal both companies’ commitment to long-term cooperation.
Hélène Moreau-Leroy, Chairman and CEO of Hutchinson, said the collaboration reflects a shared ambition to contribute to the continued development of India’s aerospace ecosystem. She noted that the country represents an important and fast-growing market where Hutchinson already has a strong presence through its automotive operations. According to Moreau-Leroy, the partnership will enhance industrial competitiveness and deliver advanced solutions for global aerospace manufacturers while strengthening local capabilities.
Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies Limited, highlighted the strategic importance of combining expertise in metallic and composite structures. He stated that the collaboration opens new opportunities for aerospace manufacturers by enabling value engineering, faster product development, and scalable manufacturing from India.
Dynamatic Technologies designs and manufactures highly engineered products for hydraulic, aeronautic, metallurgy, and security applications. The company operates advanced design, engineering, and production facilities across India and Europe, serving customers on six continents. With more than 2,000 employees—including scientists and engineers specializing in mechanical engineering, advanced computer-aided engineering, materials science, fluid dynamics, and aerospace research—the company maintains a vertically integrated manufacturing model that includes alloy production, casting, and access to low-carbon energy sources.
