Hind Rectifiers Limited (HIRECT) has announced the commercial rollout of a new range of high-performance copper conductors designed for transformers, traction systems and industrial power applications. The products are being manufactured at the company’s recently established facility in Sinnar, Nashik.

The new portfolio includes Continuously Transposed Conductors (CTC), Paper Insulated Copper Conductors (PICC) and Enameled Paper Insulated Copper Conductors (EPICC). These products are engineered to meet the demanding requirements of high-power electrical systems used in infrastructure sectors such as power transmission, railways and industrial networks.

The manufacturing facility is equipped with advanced production lines that offer flexibility in conductor design and insulation configurations. The CTC lines support a wide range of strand combinations and dimensions, enabling customization based on specific application needs. Similarly, the insulation systems are designed to accommodate varying thicknesses and performance requirements, ensuring reliability in different operating conditions.

To maintain high quality standards, the production environment is controlled for temperature and cleanliness. The facility incorporates advanced testing and inspection systems, including in-line optical monitoring and precision measurement tools, to ensure consistency in product performance.

HIRECT has also established comprehensive in-house testing capabilities covering electrical, mechanical and insulation properties. These include tests for dielectric performance, high-voltage endurance and structural integrity, ensuring compliance with global standards.

The new product line is expected to support both domestic demand and international markets through exports. By expanding its capabilities in copper conductor manufacturing, the company aims to strengthen its role in the global transformer supply chain and support the growing need for efficient power infrastructure. With increasing investments in energy and transportation systems, demand for high-quality electrical components continues to rise. HIRECT’s latest development positions the company to meet these requirements while enhancing its presence in global markets.
