SUGS Lloyd Limited, an EPC company specializing in power transmission and distribution, solar and smart grid solutions, has announced the award of a major contract valued at ₹639.24 crore (including GST) from Konkan Railway Corporation Limited. The project is to be executed over a period of 24 months.

The scope of the contract includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of plant systems, along with the deployment of SCADA-DMS (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition–Distribution Management System) infrastructure. The project is expected to contribute significantly to modernizing power systems and enhancing grid efficiency.

This order marks a significant milestone for SUGS Lloyd, substantially strengthening its order book and providing strong revenue visibility over the next two years. The scale and complexity of the project underscore the company’s growing capability in delivering large EPC assignments, particularly in the smart grid and power infrastructure segments.

The contract also represents a strategic expansion of SUGS Lloyd’s presence in the power transmission and distribution sector. By securing this order from a prominent government entity, the company continues to build its credentials with marquee clients while broadening its project portfolio.

Commenting on the development, Chairman and Promoter Santosh Shah stated that the order reflects confidence in the company’s execution capabilities and positions it for further growth. He noted that the project strengthens SUGS Lloyd’s standing in the sector and opens the door to larger opportunities in the future. The company remains focused on disciplined project execution, selective bidding and maintaining financial stability as it scales operations.

Founded in 2009, SUGS Lloyd has established itself as a trusted partner for infrastructure projects across India, particularly under government-led initiatives such as RDSS and IPDS. The company serves a range of leading clients including NTPC, Tata Power, Adani Renewables, Indian Railways and multiple state distribution companies.

In addition to its EPC capabilities, SUGS Lloyd holds a strong position in Fault Passage Indicator (FPI) technology, where it commands a significant share of the market. The company continues to expand its footprint across power transmission, distribution and solar energy segments.

For the first half of FY26, SUGS Lloyd reported revenue of ₹123.03 crore, EBITDA of ₹18.88 crore and a net profit of ₹11.82 crore, reflecting steady operational performance. With this latest order, SUGS Lloyd is well positioned to accelerate growth while contributing to the development of India’s evolving power infrastructure landscape
