Highway Infrastructure Ltd, a diversified infrastructure and project execution company, has added two new contracts to its EPC portfolio. The projects, awarded by Atal Indore City Transport Service Ltd (AICTSL), involve setting up electrification systems to support electric bus charging facilities under the Government of India’s PM-eBus Seva program.
Highway Infrastructure Ltd has been awarded two significant electrification contracts by Atal Indore City Transport Service Ltd. (AICTSL) as part of the PM-eBus Seva initiative. The first project, at the Nayta Mundla Bus Depot, involves the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of external electrification systems to facilitate electric bus charging. Valued at ₹1.96 crore, this project is scheduled for completion by March 2026.
The second project, located at the Dewas Naka (Niranjanpur) Bus Depot, focuses on implementing external electrification infrastructure to support e-bus operations, with a contract value of ₹1.09 crore and the same completion timeline. These projects reflect Highway Infrastructure’s expanding footprint in the green mobility sector and reinforce its commitment to supporting sustainable urban transportation solutions.
With the addition of these projects, the company’s consolidated order book has reached ₹778.2 crore. Of this, ₹587.1 crore (75%) is attributed to EPC contracts, while ₹191.1 crore (25%) comes from toll collection projects. The EPC segment has grown 41% since March 2025, and the overall order book reflects a 47% increase over the same period — underscoring the company’s upward trajectory in project acquisition and execution.
The PM-eBus Seva scheme is a central government initiative focused on reshaping public transport by encouraging electric bus adoption and expanding associated infrastructure. It offers operational and financial backing to city-level transport agencies and operators, unlocking new opportunities for companies engaged in green infrastructure.
