Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) today announced that it has been awarded a multi-year contract by Aramco to provide integrated stimulation and completion services for unconventional gas development projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The agreement is part of a broader multi-billion-dollar initiative supporting one of the world’s largest unconventional gas development programs.
The contract strengthens Halliburton’s long-standing collaboration with Aramco and expands the company’s role in supporting the Kingdom’s unconventional energy development strategy. Through its integrated service model, Halliburton will deliver a comprehensive portfolio of drilling and completion solutions designed to support large-scale development campaigns, improve operational efficiency, increase execution consistency, and enhance overall project performance.
Halliburton has supported Aramco’s unconventional programs across multiple fields in the Kingdom, providing advanced technologies and services tailored to the demands of complex development environments. These solutions integrate digital capabilities into field operations, helping operators improve decision-making, enhance operational control, and achieve greater reliability throughout the development process.
Development activities in the Jafurah Basin are progressing as Saudi Arabia advances its unconventional gas resources.
