Raptee.HV, the Chennai-based electric motorcycle manufacturer behind India’s first high-voltage electric motorcycle built on electric car technology, has announced its entry into the Bengaluru market. The expansion marks the company’s first presence outside Chennai and represents a significant milestone in its nationwide growth strategy.
The company has opened its first Experience Centre in Bengaluru, offering customers an opportunity to explore the technology behind the Raptee.HV T30, book test rides, and access dedicated service and after-sales support. Designed to deliver a seamless ownership experience, the centre reflects the company’s focus on customer engagement and long-term product support.
Over the past six years, Raptee.HV has developed its proprietary High Voltage Technology for Electric Motorcycles (HV-TEC), a platform engineered specifically for Indian riding conditions. Supported by more than 200 patents, the vertically integrated platform combines advanced battery systems, power electronics, embedded software, and intelligent vehicle architecture to deliver higher performance, faster charging, enhanced reliability, and greater convenience.
Commenting on the expansion, Dinesh Arjun, CEO and Co-Founder, Raptee.HV, said, “Bengaluru has always been a city that embraces technology and innovation, making it an ideal market for our first expansion. Our focus has been on building a motorcycle that combines advanced engineering with a dependable ownership experience. Every aspect of the T30—from its high-voltage architecture to our customer support ecosystem—has been developed to give riders greater confidence and convenience throughout their ownership journey.”
The Raptee.HV T30 is India’s first electric motorcycle compatible with the widely adopted CCS2 charging standard, enabling riders to access more than 30,000 public charging points across the country while also supporting fast home charging. The motorcycle delivers a real-world riding range of 150 kilometres and accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in under 3.5 seconds.
Priced at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the T30 comes with an 8–year/80,000 km battery warranty, a 3-year vehicle warranty, Roadside Assistance, and dedicated customer support. Following the commencement of customer deliveries in Chennai earlier this year, Bengaluru becomes Raptee.HV’s second operational market. The company plans to expand into additional cities as it strengthens its presence across India and makes its high-voltage electric motorcycle platform accessible to a broader community of riders.
