Marking a significant step in India’s clean energy transition, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghavi, today inaugurated INOXGFL Group’s newly developed solar and wind manufacturing facilities located near Ahmedabad. The inauguration included Inox Solar’s state-of-the-art solar module manufacturing plant at Bavla and Inox Wind’s nacelle and hub manufacturing facility in the Ahmedabad region. These projects represent a major expansion of domestic renewable energy manufacturing capacity.

The initiatives align closely with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve 500 GW of non-fossil fuel power capacity by 2030. Through its subsidiaries, the INOXGFL Group continues to strengthen India’s renewable energy ecosystem and support the country’s goal of self-reliance in clean energy technologies.

With operations spanning chemicals and renewable energy, the INOXGFL Group has built one of India’s most integrated renewable platforms. Its presence extends across wind manufacturing (Inox Wind), solar manufacturing (Inox Solar), EPC services (Inox Renewable Solutions), operations and maintenance (Inox Green), advanced battery materials (GFCL EV), and independent power generation (Inox Neo Energies). Inox Clean, via Inox Neo, is targeting rapid growth as an independent power producer and aims to scale renewable installations to 3 GW, while Inox Solar is expanding its footprint as a globally competitive solar cell and module manufacturer.

Inox Solar has commissioned the first phase of its 3 GW fully automated solar module facility at Bavla. The plant is equipped with advanced manufacturing systems to produce next-generation N-type TOPCon bifacial modules using M10R and G12R cells, offering higher efficiency, lower degradation, and enhanced reliability. These modules support dual-sided power generation, improving capacity utilisation and overall energy yield.

Additionally, the Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated Inox Wind’s nacelle and hub manufacturing facility at Kalyangadh, with an annual capacity of 1.2 GW. Developed to international manufacturing standards and certified by the National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), the facility will cater to Inox Wind’s 3 MW turbine platform and its upcoming 4.X MW turbine series. Strategically positioned, the new facilities provide improved logistical connectivity to renewable project locations across western and southern India, helping reduce transportation time and accelerate project execution.
