Godrej Enterprises Group’s Material Handling Equipment division has unveiled the GEPT 20, India’s first-ever 48V Li-ion battery-powered electric hand pallet truck, setting a new benchmark in warehouse mobility and operational efficiency. As India’s logistics and warehousing industries continue to expand—driven by rising order volumes and the need for faster, safer, and more reliable handling—the GEPT 20 represents a decisive step toward modernization. Designed to deliver up to three times the productivity of traditional hand pallet trucks, it combines rapid lifting, extended runtime, precise control, and rugged performance in one powerful package.

With the ability to run for more than four hours on a single charge and lift loads of up to two tonnes, the GEPT 20 is built to handle demanding operations. Its turtle-speed mode ensures safe navigation in tight or crowded spaces, making it ideal for warehouses, retail backrooms, and industrial facilities alike.

Speaking about the launch, Anil Lingayat, Business Head, Material Handling Equipment Business, Godrej Enterprises Group, said “At Godrej Enterprises Group, we are committed to reimagining India’s industrial ecosystem through innovation and sustainability. The GEPT 20 is not merely a new product—it’s a strategic step toward the electrification of logistics. By introducing India’s first 48V Li-ion electric hand pallet truck, we are empowering businesses with smarter, cleaner, and more efficient technologies that align with India’s journey toward a green and self-reliant future.”

Powered by advanced lithium-ion battery technology, the GEPT 20 ensures quick charging, zero maintenance, and a longer service life—offering a clear edge over conventional pallet trucks. This introduction reinforces the group’s mission to advance sustainable innovation, helping reduce the carbon footprint of logistics operations while driving productivity across industries. As sectors like manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and infrastructure scale up to meet growing domestic and global demands, the GEPT 20 is set to play a crucial role in building faster, safer, and cleaner warehouse ecosystems—a significant stride toward India’s green logistics future.
