Godrej Electricals Commissions 12.5 MWp Rooftop Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh

Godrej Electricals & Electronics, has commissioned a 12.5 MWp rooftop solar project for a textile facility in Madhya Pradesh. This project, covering 1 million square feet of manufacturing sheds, is one of the largest rooftop solar installations in India and the first of its kind in the state. It is expected to save 17 million kWh of power annually by providing green energy to the facility.

Godrej Electricals & Electronics is also working on similar solar projects in other industries, including cement, automobile, and pharma. With India becoming the third-largest solar power generator in the world, the renewable energy sector is growing rapidly.
