Flair Writing Industries Limited has secured fresh orders worth ₹200 million from leading large-format retail chains for its Creative and Steel Bottles & Houseware businesses. The orders are scheduled for execution over the next 90 days and are expected to further strengthen the company’s position in the fast-growing consumer products market.
The latest order win reflects the increasing acceptance of Flair’s expanding product portfolio beyond its established writing instruments business. The company has been steadily diversifying into creative stationery, steel bottles, and houseware products, with these categories emerging as important growth drivers.
Commenting on the development, Mohit Rathod, Whole-Time Director, Flair Writing Industries Limited, said the company continues to build on the strong recognition and trust associated with the Flair brand while expanding its presence across multiple consumer categories. He noted that both the Creative and Steel Bottles & Houseware divisions are witnessing strong demand from organized retail channels, with the latest orders expected to contribute positively to the company’s profitability. According to him, these businesses have demonstrated significant momentum, recording annual growth of 78% during FY26 and contributing nearly 31% of the company’s overall revenue.
The company expects this contribution to increase further during FY27, with the two divisions together projected to account for approximately 38-40% of total revenue as product acceptance continues to improve across domestic markets. Flair has also strengthened its manufacturing capabilities to support future growth. During FY26, the company sold approximately 145 million mechanical pencils and has commenced production of wooden pencils at its Surat manufacturing facility under its Creative products division. The expansion is aimed at catering to growing demand across the education, stationery, and art supplies segments.
Known as one of India’s leading writing instrument manufacturers, Flair has built a strong portfolio of brands over more than four decades. Besides its flagship Flair brand, the company markets products under Hauser, Pierre Cardin, Flair Creative and the recently introduced ZOOX brand. It also distributes the premium creative product range of MAPED France in India. For FY26, Flair Writing Industries reported revenue of ₹12,501 million, EBITDA of ₹2,245 million and profit after tax of ₹1,413 million, delivering its targeted annual revenue growth of 15%.
The company operates 11 manufacturing facilities across five locations and has established one of the country’s largest distribution networks, supported by more than 166 super stockists, over 8,000 distributors and nearly 330,000 retail outlets spanning more than 6,500 pin codes. This widespread presence, combined with an expanding product portfolio, positions Flair to capture rising demand across India’s growing consumer and retail markets.
