Filatex India Limited, an integrated polyester filament yarn manufacturer, has announced its financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2026, reporting steady growth supported by operational discipline and ongoing strategic investments. For the fourth quarter of FY26, the company recorded revenue from operations of ₹985.49 crore, while full-year revenue stood at ₹4,160.52 crore.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) reached ₹86.24 crore in Q4, with a margin of 8.75 percent. For the full year, EBITDA rose to ₹346.52 crore, marking a year-on-year growth of 34.47 percent. Profit after tax for the quarter was ₹40.25 crore, while FY26 profit stood at ₹183.90 crore, reflecting a growth of 36.66 percent compared to the previous year.

The company continues to make progress across key projects aligned with its long-term growth strategy. Its textile-to-textile recycling project, with an investment of ₹300 crore and a capacity of 26,750 tonnes per annum, is progressing as planned and is expected to be commissioned by September 2026. In parallel, a brownfield expansion project worth ₹235 crore will add approximately 55,000 tonnes per annum capacity across POY, FDY, and DTY segments, supporting an improved product mix. This expansion is also targeted for completion by September 2026.

Filatex is also advancing its transition towards renewable energy, with ongoing implementation of hybrid wind-solar and solar power projects. The company aims to increase the share of renewable energy in its overall consumption from around 26 percent to approximately 55 percent by November 2026.

In a strategic development, Filatex has signed a memorandum of understanding with American & Efird Global, LLC to conduct trials of chemically recycled polyester yarn for thread manufacturing. The initiative is expected to support validation of its recycled yarn offerings across multiple applications and strengthen its position in the recycled materials segment.

During the quarter, the polyester industry experienced temporary volatility due to geopolitical developments in West Asia, which led to higher raw material costs linked to crude oil. Elevated freight and import costs also impacted operating conditions across the sector. However, recent policy measures, including the temporary removal of customs duties on key inputs, are expected to ease cost pressures in the near term.

Chairman and Managing Director Madhu Sudhan Bhageria said the company’s performance reflects stable volumes, disciplined execution, and a focus on value-added products. He added that despite short-term challenges, favourable trade developments and increasing demand for sustainable materials are expected to support long-term growth.
