Maria Anhalt, CEO, Elektrobit

Elektrobit announced it will unveil a range of advancements designed to bring appropriately scaled software-defined vehicles (SDVs) to market at CES 2026. As development costs rise and vehicles become increasingly complex, the automotive sector faces a critical challenge: delivering SDVs that balance innovation with practicality, scalability, and cost efficiency. At booth #3719 in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall, visitors will explore hands-on demonstrations outlining real-world methods to simplify SDV development, enhance engineering productivity, and shorten time-to-market for next-generation vehicles.

The demonstrations will showcase high-performance Linux designed for safety-critical automotive functions. Using EB corbos Linux for Safety Applications, the exhibit features a real-time ADAS and cockpit setup developed with Telechips, demonstrating how functional safety technologies can evolve in parallel with open-source innovation.

Another highlight is the integration-as-code approach for scalable ECU development. This demonstration focuses on API-driven improvements within CI/CD/CT pipelines, showing how automated configuration, scripting, and test generation—enhanced by intelligent tools and AI-assisted automation—can significantly accelerate development while improving software quality.

Elektrobit will also present scalable cockpit solutions tailored for software-defined vehicles. Spanning virtual low-code design environments, modular and safety-certified operating systems, and deployment-ready hardware, this ecosystem streamlines cockpit development and enables faster innovation.

Rounding out the demonstrations is a smart EV platform developed in collaboration with Foxconn. This modular combination of software and hardware helps automakers bring software-defined vehicles to market more quickly and affordably, offering built-to-print production flexibility without locking them into a single supplier.

Members of Elektrobit’s leadership team—including CEO Maria Anhalt; Chief Commercial Officer Christoph Herzig; Head of Strategic Business Development Dr Siegfried Dirr; Senior Director of Strategic Product Management for SDV D. Moritz Neukirchner; and Head of Strategy and Portfolio Jagan Rajagopalan—will be present throughout CES 2026. Elektrobit solutions will also appear at multiple partner exhibits and meeting suites across the show. Additionally, Anhalt will speak on the Smart Rides panel on January 8, 2026, at 3 pm PT, joined by experts from Magna International, TomTom and others, to discuss how SDVs are reshaping safety, personalization, and data-driven driver experiences.

“The question surrounding SDVs is no longer whether they will arrive, but how we make them scalable, accessible, and cost-effective,” said Ms Anhalt. “At CES 2026, we will demonstrate how Elektrobit is addressing integration challenges, reducing complexity, and supporting an affordable path toward the next era of mobility.”
