DEE Development Engineers, a provider of piping solutions, is targeting a significant revenue increase, with expectations to reach Rs 2,400 crore in the next three to five years, according to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Krishan Lalit Bansal. After reporting Rs 785 crore in revenue for 2023-24, the company is optimistic about achieving even higher figures in the current financial year, Bansal shared during a recent discussion.
To fuel its growth, DEE Development Engineers has launched a new facility in Anjar with an investment of Rs 250 crore. Initially, the plant will have a capacity of 12,000 tonnes per annum, which will increase to 27,000 tonnes per annum by September this year.
In addition, the company plans to establish a Rs 90-crore seamless pipe manufacturing unit in Anjar by December, with an annual production capacity of 7,000 metric tonnes. “We are also setting up a specialized forged seamless pipe plant primarily for the power sector, and eventually, we aim to expand into subsea applications once we are well-established,” said the CMD.
For the September quarter, DEE Development Engineers saw a 125% increase in consolidated profit, reaching Rs 22.26 crore, compared to Rs 9.88 crore in the same period the previous year. During the same quarter, the company’s income grew to Rs 210 crore from Rs 186.16 crore in the previous year.
