Concord Control Systems Limited (CCSL) has secured its first order for KAVACH 4.0, India’s advanced railway safety system, through Progota India for the South Central Railway. The order covers design, development, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of both onboard and trackside KAVACH equipment.
“This order is not just a validation of our engineering capabilities but also a stepping stone for scaling our KAVACH deployment across the Indian Railways network. We are confident that our fully in-house developed system will set new benchmarks for safety, reliability, and self-reliance in railway technology,” said Nitin Jain, Joint Managing Director, Concord Control Systems Limited.
Developed entirely in-house, the system gives CCSL a strong first-mover advantage in railway safety electronics. Typically, new players require three to five years to reach this stage, underscoring the company’s leadership in innovation, compliance, and time-to-market.
Concord Control Systems is a leading Indian manufacturer of embedded electronics and mission-critical solutions for modern rail infrastructure. An RDSO-approved OEM, the company aligns with the government’s Gati Shakti initiative, supported by advanced R&D, testing, and manufacturing facilities. With a robust portfolio tailored for the demanding railway environment, CCSL continues to drive India’s railway modernization and digital transformation. The company also aspires to expand globally, tapping international markets and positioning Indian railway technology on the world stage.
