Concord Control Systems Limited (BSE: CNCRD), a leading Indian manufacturer of embedded electronic systems and safety-critical electronic solutions, announced that its associate company, Progota India Private Limited, has secured a ₹53.73 crore contract from Indian Railways. The order covers the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-board KAVACH 4.0 equipment, India’s indigenous Automatic Train Protection system designed to prevent train collisions, overspeeding, and signal passing at danger. The project is scheduled for completion within 12 months and strengthens Concord’s contribution to improving railway safety through locally developed technology aligned with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Gaurav Lath, Joint Managing Director of Concord Control Systems Limited, said KAVACH 4.0 marks a significant step in building a safer and more dependable rail network. He noted that the order recognizes the company’s engineering strength, execution track record, and long-standing collaboration with Indian Railways, adding that Concord remains committed to advancing safety solutions that support the modernization of India’s railway ecosystem.

Nitin Jain, Joint Managing Director, added that the new order reinforces Concord’s position as a trusted partner in the national railway safety programme. He said the mandate reflects confidence in the company’s in-house developed systems and provides an opportunity to expand KAVACH deployment across the Indian Railways network while setting higher standards in safety, reliability, and indigenous innovation.

Concord, through Progota India Private Limited, has previously secured several KAVACH 4.0 contracts. In September 2025, the company received a ₹19.45 crore order from South Central Railway, its first major field deployment validating its SiL4-certified technology. Earlier in February 2026, Progota was awarded a ₹185.09 crore contract for on-board locomotive equipment, also with a 12-month execution timeline. These milestones highlight Concord’s growing role in nationwide railway safety upgrades.

Concord Control Systems Limited is an RDSO-approved OEM delivering advanced electronic systems for India’s rail sector. With strong research, testing, and manufacturing capabilities, the company supports next-generation railway infrastructure under national initiatives such as Gati Shakti.

Its products are engineered for demanding rail environments and built to meet global quality and safety standards. As India accelerates the rollout of KAVACH technology across its rail network, Concord aims to expand its footprint and continue delivering innovative, high-performance solutions that strengthen railway safety and reliability.
