Concord Control Systems Limited (BSE: CNCRD), a top Indian manufacturer specializing in embedded electronic and critical safety systems, announced today that its Board has approved additional investment to raise its shareholding in Progota India Private Limited to 46.5%. This move aims to accelerate the commercialization and broad deployment of Kavach 4.0, India’s premier Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system.
The partnership focuses on expanding production and distribution of Kavach 4.0, a key rail safety technology designed to automatically control train speeds and enforce signal adherence, significantly reducing the risk of collisions. Progota India, established in 2021, specializes in railway automation and Kavach ATP system delivery, with growing orders from multiple major railway zones.
