RTA: The Fleet Success Company has been selected by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Vehicle Management to implement its Fleet360 Fleet Management Information System (FMIS), supporting the state’s transition from its legacy fleet management platform to a modern, integrated solution. The contract (No. 4400034153) was awarded through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Agreement following an extensive request for information (RFI) and vendor evaluation process.
Under the agreement, Pennsylvania’s government agencies will deploy RTA Fleet360 to strengthen fleet operations by improving asset management, preventive maintenance, repair scheduling, parts inventory, fuel tracking, accident management and reporting. The platform is designed to provide fleet managers with greater operational visibility while enabling data-driven planning and decision-making.
“We were looking beyond software to find a long-term partner that could support our fleet management objectives,” said James Fiore, Director of Vehicle Management for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. “Our goal was to adopt a solution that combines technology with practical expertise to help our teams improve operational performance, strengthen workforce development and continue delivering value to taxpayers. RTA’s collaborative approach aligned well with those priorities.”
The implementation is expected to help Pennsylvania improve vehicle availability through preventive maintenance scheduling, streamline repair workflows with automated processes, simplify asset lifecycle management, and establish standardized documentation across departments. The platform also includes tools to collect employee and internal customer feedback, helping agencies identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and workforce engagement.
Josh Turley, Chief Executive Officer of RTA Fleet, said the partnership reflects a shared focus on improving public-sector fleet performance through technology and operational expertise. “Our role extends beyond providing software,” Mr Turley said. “We work alongside fleet organizations to help them improve efficiency, reduce downtime, optimize maintenance operations and make informed decisions that support reliable public services. We look forward to supporting Pennsylvania as it modernizes its fleet management operations.”
The adoption of Fleet360 comes as government fleet operators continue to balance growing service demands, aging vehicle assets and increasing pressure to improve operational efficiency while managing costs. By centralizing fleet information and automating key maintenance processes, the platform is intended to support higher asset utilization, better resource planning and more consistent fleet performance.
The agreement further expands RTA Fleet’s presence in the public sector, where the company has worked with city, county and state fleet organizations for more than 45 years. In addition to fleet management software, RTA provides consulting, operational guidance and training designed to help fleet organizations strengthen long-term performance and workforce capability.
