CIRCOR International, Inc, a KKR-backed global manufacturer of flow control solutions for industrial and aerospace sectors, has announced the acquisition of Flowserve Corporation’s herringbone gear pump product line. The deal covers the GAX, GR, and Gearex Series pumps, which will be integrated into CIRCOR’s IMO product range after a short transition phase, ensuring uninterrupted service for all existing and future customers.

The acquisition strengthens CIRCOR’s Pumps Americas division by filling strategic gaps in its product lineup and expanding its reach in key industries such as chemical processing, power generation, and general manufacturing. The herringbone gear pump line, known for its stainless-steel build, intermittent dry-running capability, and ability to handle viscous fluids and high temperatures, complements CIRCOR’s commitment to engineering excellence and performance reliability.

Tony Najjar, President and CEO of CIRCOR International, stated, “We are delighted to welcome this trusted product line into the CIRCOR portfolio. It fits perfectly with our growth strategy in Pumps Americas, particularly for demanding, high-viscosity, and specialty applications. Our Columbia, Kentucky facility will take over production, allowing us to enhance operational efficiency and deliver superior service to customers.” Manufacturing of the newly acquired pumps will gradually transition to CIRCOR’s Columbia, Kentucky facility in the coming months, while Flowserve will continue supporting production and deliveries under a transition services agreement to ensure a seamless handover.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, CIRCOR International designs and produces advanced flow control systems and subsystems for aerospace, defense, and industrial clients. With globally recognized brands such as IMO®, Allweiler®, RTK®, and Warren®, the company serves more than 14,000 customers across 100 countries through a workforce of about 3,000 employees worldwide.
