Blue Dart Express Limited has launched International Parcel Connect, a business-to-consumer (B2C) cross-border parcel shipping service designed to help Indian e-commerce businesses and exporters reach overseas customers. The service will initially accept eligible shipments from India to the United States.

The offering is aimed at direct-to-consumer brands, marketplace sellers, small and medium-sized enterprises and other businesses seeking access to international markets. Powered by DHL eCommerce, the service combines Blue Dart’s domestic operations and customer support with an established international parcel network. International Parcel Connect provides Standard and Expedited delivery options, allowing businesses to choose a service according to their delivery requirements. Shipment visibility and support from Blue Dart in India are also part of the offering.

Balfour Manuel, Managing Director of Blue Dart, said customers had been asking the company to extend its services to international shipping. He said International Parcel Connect combines Blue Dart’s operational capabilities in India with international network access to support businesses pursuing growth beyond the domestic market.

Dipanjan Banerjee, Chief Commercial Officer of Blue Dart, said India’s B2C e-commerce exports were estimated at around US$2 billion, presenting opportunities for Indian sellers. He said the new service was intended to address the gap between premium-priced express delivery and lower-cost postal shipping by offering two delivery speeds.

The service will handle eligible parcels weighing between 50 grams and 11 kilograms. Supported product categories include apparel and fashion products, automobile spare parts, books, handicrafts, imitation jewellery and rugs, along with other eligible marketplace and e-commerce goods. Shipments will remain subject to applicable customs and regulatory requirements, as well as restrictions relating to commodities, weight and dimensions.

Blue Dart plans to expand International Parcel Connect beyond the United States to additional markets, including the United Kingdom, countries in the European Union, Canada and Australia. The expansion is intended to give Indian businesses access to more overseas consumers as cross-border e-commerce develops.

The launch adds an international B2C parcel option to Blue Dart’s express and integrated transportation services. By combining Standard and Expedited delivery options with shipment tracking and domestic customer support, the company aims to make international parcel shipping more accessible to smaller businesses and growing exporters.

Blue Dart Express Limited operates in South Asia’s express air and integrated transportation and distribution sector. Through its association with DHL eCommerce for International Parcel Connect, the company is extending its services to support Indian businesses shipping eligible e-commerce products to customers in overseas markets.
