Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), formerly known as Bartronics India Limited, has announced a series of strategic collaborations aimed at expanding its agricultural technology and sustainability initiatives under its Project AVIO Agritech program. The company, which operates a large financial inclusion network through its banking correspondent infrastructure, is leveraging this platform to introduce digital services and sustainability programs tailored to the agricultural sector.
Through its existing network of more than 5,000 banking correspondents operating across 10 Indian states, ASMS currently connects with an estimated 40 million rural citizens. The company now plans to use this infrastructure to develop an integrated agricultural ecosystem designed to support farmers with technology-driven solutions and access to new economic opportunities.
Under Project AVIO Agritech, ASMS aims to reach up to 20 million farmers across more than 5,000 villages. The initiative will integrate sustainable farming practices, digital advisory services, climate solutions and rural financial services into a single platform.
To support this effort, the company has signed multiple Memoranda of Understanding with organizations working across climate services, environmental technologies and agricultural innovation. These partnerships include Kosher Climate India Private Limited, Enrich Power and Water Technologies, Ecoveda Climate LLP and PranadhaaraAgri Smart Solutions, also known as CarbonMint.
Each partner will contribute specific expertise to the emerging agri-tech ecosystem. The collaboration with Kosher Climate India focuses on the development of carbon projects and enabling access to voluntary global carbon markets. Through this partnership, farmers adopting sustainable agricultural practices may have opportunities to generate and monetize carbon credits.
ASMS has also partnered with Enrich Power and Water Technologies to support water optimization and renewable energy solutions in rural areas. Initiatives under this collaboration may include solar-powered irrigation systems and water management technologies designed to improve resource efficiency and reduce input costs for farmers.
The agreement with Ecoveda Climate LLP will support the development of agroforestry and regenerative agriculture programs. These nature-based solutions can enhance soil health, improve biodiversity and generate carbon credits linked to climate programs.
Meanwhile, the partnership with PranadhaaraAgri Smart Solutions (CarbonMint) will provide digital farm advisory services, access to mechanization resources and monitoring, reporting and verification systems required for carbon and sustainability initiatives.
By combining these partnerships with its rural network, ASMS intends to introduce a range of services that support both agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability. The integrated ecosystem will offer farmers access to climate advisory tools, digital agricultural services, carbon credit programs and financial support. The company believes that such integrated solutions can help farmers improve productivity while reducing operational costs and creating new income opportunities tied to sustainable farming practices.
The initial rollout of Project AVIO Agritech initiatives will focus on Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Pilot clusters are expected to be deployed over the next six to twelve months through partner-led implementation models.
