Autoline Industries Limited has secured a new business award from Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited for the supply of four critical components for hatchback applications, strengthening its relationship with one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers. The programme is expected to generate annual incremental revenue of around ₹80 crore after the planned production ramp-up, subject to Tata Motors’ production schedules and actual requirements. In addition, Autoline expects to generate one-time revenue of approximately ₹30 crore from associated tooling.
The order marks an important addition to Autoline’s passenger vehicle business and reflects the company’s engineering, tooling and manufacturing capabilities. The Pune-based automotive component manufacturer supplies a wide range of products to leading vehicle manufacturers in India and international markets.
Autoline plans to support the new programme through its manufacturing network, which uses automation, connected production systems and data-based monitoring. The company has been expanding the use of Industry 4.0 technologies to improve production visibility, quality control and manufacturing efficiency.
Its facilities also use automated and robotic production processes to improve consistency and productivity. In-house engineering and tooling capabilities allow Autoline to support customers from product development through industrialisation and volume production.
The company said its scalable manufacturing infrastructure will help it meet the programme’s production requirements as volumes increase. Autoline will also focus on energy efficiency, resource optimisation and responsible manufacturing practices while executing the order.
“This business award reflects the strength of Autoline’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities and the continued confidence of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited in the Company,” said Shivaji Akhade, Managing Director, Autoline Industries Limited. He added that the company would focus on quality, cost, delivery and capacity readiness while using the new programme to deepen its engagement with Tata Motors and expand its portfolio of value-added automotive products.
