AutoForm Group has announced the acquisition of Stampack GmbH, further strengthening its leadership in the field of sheet metal forming technologies. Stampack brings advanced capabilities in explicit solver technology and solid element simulation, enhancing AutoForm’s existing software suite and creating new avenues for innovation and customer benefit. The acquisition aligns both companies’ expertise to deliver advanced digital solutions to a wider range of industries.

Stampack’s software, based on explicit solver technology, is designed to handle complex simulations involving high deformation speeds and intricate contact conditions. It provides accurate validation of forming processes for components with thick materials, tight radii, or reduced sheet thickness. With this addition, AutoForm can better support customers in solving challenging metal forming problems, including those faced by LogoPress users, while expanding its presence across the automotive, aerospace, appliance, and electrical sectors.

The integration also opens opportunities for applying the acquired technology in new domains such as structural dynamics, defense applications, shipbuilding, construction, energy, and large-scale industrial assemblies. AutoForm’s global reach and three decades of expertise in forming technology will complement Stampack’s strengths, driving innovation and expanding market access for both companies.

Olivier Leteurtre, CEO of AutoForm Group, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating that combining the two companies’ specialized knowledge will allow AutoForm to broaden its portfolio and deliver greater value to existing and new customers across multiple industries. Dr. Luca Hornung, CEO and former owner of Stampack GmbH, added that joining AutoForm offers an opportunity to scale Stampack’s technology globally and extend its deep market presence beyond German-speaking regions, marking a new phase of growth for both organizations.
